Job Description:
- Experience in installing, configuring, patching, upgrading, deploying and running Cassandra databases
- Experience evaluating and preparing new and upgraded Cassandra and Cassandra-compatible offerings
- Experience documenting, presenting and explaining appropriate techniques, patterns and best practices for hosting, database administration and operational support
- Solid knowledge of DBMS concepts such as ACID, CAP and consistency
- Experience with enterprise-scale Cassandra deployments, including intra- and inter-data-center high availability configurations, fault tolerance and failover, physical and logical replication, cluster management, automated provisioning, rolling upgrade techniques, backup & restoration techniques, security mechanisms, health monitoring and alerting techniques, and troubleshooting.

- Review and approve Azure infrastructure change requests based on predefined processes and templates
- Understand and follow Client PGT and Azure infrastructure standards and patterns, and apply to PGT infrastructure change requests
- Properly assess change impacts
- Develop, maintain, and enforce change templates
- Participate change activities as checkers and reviewers
- Ensure timely review and approval of change requests based on SLA, update change requests, tasks and status in ServiceNow

- Familiar with process to resize VM, change NSG rules, add/change VM managed disks, and mount storage volume
- Familiar with Azure portal, CLI, ARM, PowerShell and Ansible to execute Azure changes
- SUSE Linux system administration experience
- Familiar with ITSM process and ServiceNow
- Strong verbal communication skills
